Two-Sided Paintings
Like hanging skins in the tradition of Rembrandt’s Flayed Ox, these two-sided works offer a meditation on the wounding, aging, and marking of the physical body. Experimenting with poured mediums, they also probe the formal possibilities of removing the traditional substrate or support.
